RON JOHNSON - Co-Founder and Technical Director
Ron Johnson has achieved near legendary status in western Canada’s hockey community as an inventor, trainer, coach, and advocate of scientific bio-mechanical methods in the selection and development of hockey athletes. As an avocation, Ron churns out inventions and has single-handedly applied his testing to 12,000 hockey athletes. Using his selection methodologies, Ron selected and coached the Richmond Sockeyes junior hockey team to back-to-back Cyclone Taylor Cup champions (BC provincial championships) in 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 with teams that included some of the youngest rosters in Canadian junior hockey history.
MIKE VALLEY - Co-Founder
Mike signed a free-agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks organization and played six seasons in NHL farm clubs before completing his degree in communication science at the University of Wisconsin. He experienced the hands-on benefits of Ron Johnson’s coaching, training and evaluation techniques as he progressed through a hockey career that took him to Sweden as a junior, and earned him a scholarship berth as a University of Wisconsin goaltender.
